Ultra HD, also known as UHD or 4K, refers to a resolution standard for high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. Ultra HD has a resolution of at least 3840 x 2160 pixels, which is four times the resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels). This higher resolution allows for a more detailed and immersive viewing experience, with more pixels on the screen to create a more lifelike image. Ultra HD TVs and monitors are becoming more common and are capable of displaying content in this higher resolution. Ultra HD content is also increasingly available on streaming platforms and on physical media such as Ultra HD Blu-ray discs.
