A couple in Jinhua, China, became alarmed when they heard cries coming from the pipes in their apartment, discovering that a newborn baby had been flushed down the toilet and become stuck in one of the pipes. Rescue crews cut away a section of the pipe to get the baby out, but could not reach the child, so they took the entire section of the pipe to the hospital. Three doctors cut the baby out, and the child is reportedly in stable condition.
