Walter Barnes & His Royal Creolians - If You're Thinking Of Me

I had some trouble finding information about this poorly known orchestra. Walter Barnes and his Royal Creolians apparently were a Chicagoan band that played in the Chicago area and toured the Southern states until April 23rd, 1940 when Barnes and eight members of his band and one hundred and ninety-three other people were killed in a fire at the Rhythm Night Club in Natchez, Mississippi. This outstanding record was made in 1929.
