Bhindi Masala - Spicy Okra - Vegetarian Recipe by Ruchi Bharani [HD]

In this episode, tasty and healthy vegetable dish, Bhindi Masala is being made. A very popular main course item commonly made in India. br br Ingredients: br 250gms chopped Okra (Bhindi) br 1 small Onion, cut lengthwise br 1&12 Tomato finely chopped br 12 tsp Garlic Paste br 12 tsp Ginger Paste br Coriander Leaves br Salt br 12 tsp Mustard Seeds br 14 tsp Red Chilli Powder br 14 tsp Turmeric Powder br 12 tsp Raw Mango Powder (Aamchur Powder) br 12 tsp Garam Masala br 1 tsp Coriander & Cumin Powder br 2 tbsp Oil br Sesame Seeds br br Method: br - Cut the Okra into 1 inch long pieces. br - Heat oil in a frying pan, add mustard seeds and Okra, stir well. br - Meanwhile in a different pan, heat some oil, add ginger paste, garlic paste and chopped onions. Saute for few mins. br - Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, raw mango powder, coriander & cumin seeds and stirl. br - After couple of mins add garam masala & salt. Cook till the tomatoes are nice and soft. br - Add coriander leaves. br - Once the okra is cooked, add it to the onion and tomato mix. br - Add some more salt. Stir and mix well br - Bhindi masala is now ready to be served hot, after garnishing with few sesame seeds.
