Rough Cut Film Review rubs it's sweaty palms all over Tom Cruise's latest Sci-Fi (light) blockbuster. Count how many other films books I reference as you listen to the review - or you could make it into a fun drinking game (if you are legally able) and chug a beer every time I say "Silent Running", or "Moon" or Phillip K Dick. I was actually thinking to look into whether the screenplay for Moon actually came after Oblivion's source material but I simply didn't bother as I was was sure which one felt authentic. Also - I still don't really know why it's called Oblivion.. I know why Moon is called Moon though - Sam Rockwell once met Keith Moon. I think. br br Also GOOD LORD! the character Sally isn't Ellen Ripley it's some imposter called Melissa Leo - I wondered why Weaver was in this and put in a less than ideal performance. Good Lord.
