Nayantara made her acting debut in the Malayalam film in 2003 with Manasinakkare and went on to carve a niche for herself in the South Indian film industry with over 40 films. She has appeared opposite Superstar Rajinikanth in the film Chandramukhi and in an item number in Sivaji followed by a cameo in Kuselan.
