Playing in the Band & Uncle John's Band & Ocean City MD - Kayaking - Swimming - Fishing 7-8-2011

On the morning of July 8, 2011, I had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy a sunrise and film so many activities on the Ocean City MD beach! Even though the incredible early morning sunrise was spectacular, I was fascinated by two young athletes! These two women were swimming and kayaking in the ocean and they were awesome! I captured some of their prowess on film, but it does not justify their incredible athleticism! They would repeatedly launch the kayak into the waves, and, while one kayaked, the other would swim nearby! They completed at least five cycles of this activity and I think they independently swam and kayaked at least a mile in a few minutes in front of me! It was a beautiful morning! And there were many other people on the beach too! And I took some close-up photos of a couple who were there on vacation from Ireland! You never know who you will run into on the beach in Ocean City MD! br I have used The Grateful Dead songs Playing in the Band and Uncle John's Band from RFK June 20,1992 as a soundtrack! br Playing In The Band by Robert Hunter; Bob Weir br Some folks trust to reason br Others trust to might br I don't trust to nothing br But I know it come out right br Say it once again now br Oh I hope you understand br When it's done and over br Lord, a man is just a man br Playing br Playing in the band br Daybreak br Daybreak on the land br Some folks look for answers br Others look for fights br Some folks up in treetops br Just look to see the sights br I can tell your future br Look what's in your hand br But I can't stop for nothing br I'm just playing in the band br Playing br Playing in the band br Daybreak br Daybreak on the land br Standing on a tower br World at my command br You just keep a turning br While I'm playing in the band br If a man among you br Got no sin upon his hand br Let him cast a stone at me br For playing in the band br Playing br Playing in the band br Daybreak br Daybreak on the land br Playing br Playing in the band br Daybreak Daybreak on the land br br Uncle John's Band - Robert Hunter - Jerry Garcia br br Well the first days are the hardest days, don't you worry any more br 'Cause when life looks like easy street, there is danger at your door br Think this through with me, let me know your mind br Wo-oh, what I want to know is, are you kind? br br It's a buck dancer's choice my friend, better take my advice br You know all the rules by now, and the fire from the ice br Will you come with me, won't you come with me? br Wo-oh, what I want to know, will you come with me? br br God damn, well I declare, have you seen the like? br Their walls are built of cannon balls br Their motto is "don't" tread on me" br br Come hear Uncle John's Band, playing to the tide br Come with me or go alone br He's come to take his children home br br It's the same story the crow told me, it's the only one he knows br Like the morning sun you come and like the wind you go br Ain't no time to hate, barely time to wait br Wo-oh, what I want to know, where does the time go? br br I live in a silver mine and I call it beggar's tomb br I got me a violin and I beg you call the tune
