A little boy from Guatemala hears for the first time after receiving a cochlear implant. The whole journey started when Erin van Oordt met little Jenri Rivera on a mission trip to the country. She set in motion a chain of events that brought Jenri to Indiana to get the implant. The surgery was successful and Jenri hear his mother’s voice for the first time.
