The bomb blasts occurred in Kano, Nigeria's biggest northern city. The attackers targeted bars in a Christian district in the largely Muslim city.br br Several packages containing improvised explosive devices were placed and detonated around the area, which was previously targeted by Islamist militant group Boko Haram.
