Twenty-four people were injured, three seriously, after the outdoor deck of a popular sport bar in Miami's North Bay Village collapsed during the NBA finals.
According to NBC News, around 100 people were on the deck on Thursday night when it collapsed.
A witness recalled hearing a crack in the structure, the BBC reported. Then the deck collapsed everyone fell into the water. Another witness told the BBC the deck went down like a V. Umbrellas, chairs and tables fell in as well, making it difficult for people to get out.
Fire engines and divers from several agencies rushed to the scene and rescued people from the water.
The BBC quoted the police saying that all those involved in the accident have been accounted for.
Shuckers is a popular local hangout in Miami's North Bay Village. Part of the establishment is on land.
