Melisa gives a tour of the shared boys’ room in her own New York City home. Melisa’s family moved to New York from Los Angeles, and they’re relocating again soon. Knowing their space was temporary and limited played a major role in her design choices. With a small space, it’s important to draw the eye up, so Melisa focused a lot of attention away from the floor and also framed her boys’ precious artwork on the walls instead of using up storage space to keep them hidden away.
