Alcazar, Split Personality Palace, Spain

Alcazar, Split Personality Palace, Spain

After driving the Moors out of Seville, Spain's King built a palace, using Moorish workers, that is the planet's most confused World Heritage Site. Over half of the Alcazar imitates Grenada's Alhambra, including its gardens, then under Moorish control. The balance of the Alcazar is a normal European palace. br br This clip is a Seville segment of "From Flamenco to Fez”, presenting a 2 continent, 3 country trip to Spain, Morocco, and Portugal. br br It features Madrid, Toledo, Grenada (the Alhambra), Seville (Spain), Fez and Marrakesh in Morocco, Lisbon, & Fatima in Portugal, plus much more, including a lavish Berber spectacle of music, dancing, and horse riding.
