SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - CC Plaintiff/Arbitrator didn't call at scheduled time?

Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - CC PlaintiffArbitrator didn't call at scheduled time? - I'm being sued by a credit card company. I was scheduled to have a conference call for a pre arbitration hearing this morning and it's been an hour and 15 minutes since the scheduled time and no call. Two days ago someone from the credit card company's attorney's collection office called and I gave them the information for my bankruptcy attorney that I've just hired. I asked if the conference call would still happen and she didn't know, she said she would note the information and the attorneys would review it before the conference call was to take place. I have called my attorney's office to see if I should contact the arbitrator and was told it wasn't my job to contact them and to do nothing. I asked if they had contacted their office and she said they could have, but didn't know specifically, they get many calls a day. Basically she was conveying not to worry about it and don't do anything. I confirmed with her that it wasn't as if I wasn't showing up, they have my number and should have called me. Since no one called at all, am I correct in assuming they will not continue to sue me? They can't just not call and then get a judgment right? I guess I'm wondering what will happen next? Since I'm filing for bankruptcy in the next 30 days, would they just drop the case? I'm so afraid that something bad will happen out of not confirming with the the other side's legal office or arbitrator why they chose not to call al all. Any suggestions? I should take my attorney's office word for it, but my head is full of what ifs .
