The problem is that I got divorced about a year ago and my ex husband left me with about 3 credit cards that were maxed out at the time, I cant afford to pay them, one of them is $5000 alone, So when i get taxes back next year i am thinking about filing for bankruptcy. I read that to be hired into the FBI you have to have a credit check. So will filing bankruptcy hurt my chances of being considered for the job??
