I have recently had to change jobs because of a bit of a mental breakdown. It has taken me eight months to even find another job I am sometimes barely hanging on and feel very hopeless. I am taking medication which my doctor prescribed for me and they at least keep me functioning just not so well sometimes. I can see my medical doctor for meds but I cannot see a Psychiatrist or Psychologists without first meeting deductible which is 1000.00 dollars. I was trying different meds before with my doc. and seeing a therapist but things only seemed to get worse and eventually I lost my job anyway. I also lost my unemployment claim because I quit the next job I had after only one week. I am trying to hang on to this one but I feel very shaky sometimes. I recently filed bankruptcy and my husband and I are still trying to recover financially but do not think we ever will. I have already applied for food stamps but was told we make to much money and I also have tried various charitable organizations for help with some kind of therapy for myself so that I do not slip to far back into my disease and do something stupid like quite another job. It seems there is no help for me . The doctors ask if I feel I am a danger to myself or anyone else and I think they're just interested in protecting themselves in case I hurt someone which by the way I never have and would not even consider. My biggest errors in control usually cause me a great deal of financial strain and sometimes the anxiety from making a bad mistake causes me so much emotional pain I cannot bear it.I do not know what to do anymore ! I pray about the situation all the time so while yes I do believe in God I'm not sure he can help on this one.
