Alligator attack in Florida: A six-year-old boy was saved by his quick-thinking dad and a brave bystander after an alligator got it jaws around his left arm.br Joey Welch took a day off from school to spend the day canoeing with his dad, in a Boynton Beach river. He jumped in, grabbed Joey around the chest and began throwing punches into the animal's head.br br A bystander heard the commotion, leaped in, and landed a powerful kick into its belly.br br Realising it was outgunned, the alligator gave up and let go. br br Joey only had a few scratches to show for his tussle with the animal - something his mum described as 'a miracle.'br br As for the greedy gator, local authorities trapped and killed the wild animal for displaying 'aggressive behaviour.
