Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will return to a heroes' welcome in his home country, after clinching a historic deal with world powers in Geneva.br br The deal curbs the Iranian nuclear program in exchange for initial sanctions relief.br br Crowds at Mehrabad Airport on Sunday are hailing minister as a hero.br br Together they chanted "No war, no sanctions, no insults and no submission."br br A Tehran resident shared her view on the deal:br br (SOUNDBITE) (Farsi) TEHRAN RESIDENT, MS. GERANMAYEH, SAYING:br br "The greatest benefit will be peace, the message of peace which was delivered, and the economy is also important. And I believe that we will see progress in every field in the future."br br Posters of President Hassan Rouhani were held high; some claim he is the architect behind diplomatic detente.br br The agreement halts Iran's most sensitive nuclear activity -- its higher-grade enrichment of uranium.
