So here gos again. My wife and I who live together in Arizona and own (owe)on our home in AZ.are considering bankruptcy. Our home is upside down so its not a big concern for us. But what is a concern is a home I own in Pennsylvania that is paid for. My WIFE IS NOT ON THAT HOME. My sister and I co-own the home and my mother lives there with right to survivorship. She gave it to us as a gift about 8 years ago. We have been advised to have my wife file bankruptcy and they will not be able to lien the house in Pennsylvania. Is this correct ? I have spoke by phone to two diffrent attorneys and have gotton nearly the same answers but just need a litle more closier before shes files I would hate to put my mother in the streets.
