Eight firefighters are injured after a fire ripped through the Latin American Memorial in Sao Paulo.br br It was designed by world-renowned architect, Oscar Niemeyer.br br The Governor of the State of Sao Paulo gave an update on the injured.br br GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF SAO PAULO, GERALDO ALCKMIN, SAYING:br br "Eight firefighters were injured in the operation, but we are only following two of them personally and when I leave here I am going to the hospital where they are at the intensive care unit, but recovering well and the outlook, God willing, is positive."br br The long, elongated building is part of a complex that opened in 1989.br br It is still unclear how the fire started.
