Second Line Climax J.B. 1976 br 'Second Line", is a typical New Orleans Jazz tune and our guest, Joe Cornbread Thomas does an excellent job with the lyrics. I find it amazing is how Peter Appleyard, the show's host and one of the world's best vibraphone players, ( he played for years with Goodman) plays such simple and sensitive lines as well as a solo in the context of this early New Orleans melody. br One of his next shows he would be hosting Lionel Hampton and of course he handled that beautifully as well.
