I rushed out the back door and was nearly hit in the face by a rose that was climbing up our stucco wall. It was a reminder to me to slow down, literally … to STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES. The rose is something that brings me delight. It’s petals are soft and gentle and it’s a symbol of love. It may not last long but for today I will embrace it.
