The government has forbidden the practice of making robots have emotions. You play as Yuna, an android who was programmed with emotions by a young, genius scientist. The story begins as you're sent off to work as an intern nurse at a hospital as part of an experiment to see how well you can blend into society. There, you'll encounter a number of characters and events.
