In Delhi ,CM Arvind Kejriwal has taken a step against his predecessor Sheila Dikshit and wrote to President seeking an investigation on how and why illegal colonies in 2008 were authorized by the former CM. The Lokayukta in November last year indicted Dixit and said that she regularized around 1,000 colonies for political gain in 2008 and didn’t provide infrastructure. She also authorized the colonies that had been buildup on lands, which were reserved for forests.
