The first surat of the Holy Qur'an in arabic, phonetic and english with the recitation of Sheikh Mahmoud Khalîl Al-Hosarî, may Allah have mercy on him. br br Arabic: br br 1:1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ br br 1:2 الْحَمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ br br 1:3 الرَّحْمـنِ الرَّحِيمِ br br 1:4 مَـالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ br br 1:5 إِيَّاك نَعْبُدُ وإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ br br 1:6 اهدِنَــــا الصِّرَاطَ المُستَقِيمَ br br 1:7 صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِمْ غَيرِ المَغضُوبِ عَلَيهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّين br br Transliteration: br br 1.1 Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi br 1.1 Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena br 1.3 Alrrahmani alrraheemi br 1.4 Maliki yawmi alddeeni br 1.5 Iyyaka naAAbudu waiyyaka nastaAAeenu br 1.6 Ihdina alssirata almustaqeema br 1.7 Sirata allatheena anAAamta AAalayhim ghayri almaghdoobi AAalayhim wala alddalleena br br Approximate Translation of the Meanings of the surat: br br 1.1 In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. br 1.2 All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. br 1.3 The Beneficent, the Merciful. br 1.4 Master of the Day of Judgment. br 1.5 Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help. br 1.6 Keep us on the right path. br 1.7 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray.
