As if 7 HUGE superhero movies this year wasn't enough, our comic book heroes have invaded our TV's, most recently with the September premier of MARVEL'S AGENTS OF SHIELD. This show is basically a spin-off filler for the Marvel movies --- though the show has somewhat abandoned that concept. SHIELD occasionally has tie-in episodes. (visual Episode 8, set after the events of THOR THE DARK WORLD). However, many episodes tend to just highlight the drama surrounding the agents of the SHIELD INITIATIVE. br br Now for our last TV show, and I'm really excited about this one. Simply tilted GOTHAM, FOX is in the works for a BATMAN based tv series where we'll see all our favourite classics from the BATMAN world before they came to be in what looks like one hell of a series. Fox has already begun to announce who's set to star; with OC actor BEN MACKENZIE as a young Jim Gordon, Robin Taylor as the Penguin, SAM PERTWEE as Alfred, ZABRYNA GYUIVARA as detective Essen, and Erin Richards as Barbra Gordon.
