Santino Fort was a technical sergeant with the U.S. Air Force and deployed to Afghanistan in 2004 and 2005 and then to Iraq in 2009. According to a nationwide poll conducted by The Washington Post and the Kaiser Family Foundation, almost 9 in 10 Iraq and Afghanistan veterans feel proud of their service.
