Limehouse Blues - 1987 br On one of the many jazz festivals at sea we have been able to be part of the rhythm group of our Climax Jazz Band features Brian Ogilvie on tenor sax. Brian was a member of our band in 1980 and ‘81. Next to playing clarinet Brian had a love for the tenor sax and the music of Lester Young and Coleman Hawkins. In those days at concerts Brian would often be featured and played Limehouse blues. br I was lucky to have my camera ready and be able to film this piece. br Our young drummer Jamie Aug had just joined the band and I think this was his first cruise. Jamie had just turned 18. Chris Daniels is on bass and Jack Vincken swings on the banjo. br Very sadly Brian died on tour in Europe in 2004.
