Irish Runners Take to the Streets for Samsung Night Run

Around 8,000 people took to the streets of both Cork and Dublin to take part in the annual Samsung 10k Night Run on April 27. The event, now in its third year, sees runners of all levels pounding the pavements of both cities simultaneously, wearing the now-familiar luminous T-shirts. The first man over the line in Cork was Sergiu Ciobanu from Moldova while the first lady was Irishwoman Orla Drumm from Limerick. Credit: YouTube/John Roycroft
