WC2014:Rio finds different housing options to welcome supporters

A month and a half before the World Cup, Brazil is getting ready to welcome the 600,000 foreign visitors, adding to the 3 million Brazilian who will also be going around the country. In Rio, the city that will host seven games including the final, the scarcity of hotels resulted in sky-rocketing prices. So Brazilians have found alternative solutions to meet the demand for accommodation: love motels have been turned into hotels, apartments are being put up for rent and new hostels in favelas are appearing every day.
