Haq Parast members of Sindh assemblies have expressed deep concern over the water crisis in Karachi due to water theft through illegal hydrants in Karachi.
They said poor rain has decreased water level in Hub Dam. They added that water crisis had compounded due to water theft by tanker mafia, which steals water through illegal hydrants.
“Water is an essential for human life and scarcity of water in hot weather has put people in agony and depression, “ Haq Parast members of Sindh Assembly said.
They have demanded that Federal Minister Abid Sher Ali and Chairman of Water Board and Minister for Local Bodies Sherjeel Memon must take action against the people who are involved in water theft and constructed illegal water hydrants.
