In Ahmedabad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resigned as the president of Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA), one of the major governing bodies for cricket in Gujarat. The Ahmedabad-based cricketing body has called for a special general body meeting in about two weeks time to elect a new president.
