Charlton will be without striker Yann Kermorgant after he was ruled out for three months with a fractured ankle.
Striker Danny Haynes has now fully recovered from a hamstring injury while winger Scott Wagstaff is also fit.
Midfielders Mauro Formica and Morten Gamst Pedersen could return for Blackburn after they were dropped for last Friday's loss to Middlesbrough.
Left-back Marcus Olsson (hamstring) is still out and brother Martin is expected to continue in his place.
