Jon Meis was working as a hall monitor when a shooter came in and started firing. When the attacker went to reload his shotgun, Jon jumped into action. He fired pepper spray into the attacker's eyes and put him in a chokehold. Sadly, one person has died from the attack, but lives were saved by this selfless hero.
