A conscience mind is a sober mind br And a sober mind keeps you complete br As it will try to keep your soul honest br And will try to keep you from deceit. br It will tell and show you right from wrong br Everyday and every moment of your life br While dictating the actions you should take br So to keep you away for evil and strife. br The ethical and moral principles in your brain br That will enter you though your thoughts br And some ideals will want to lead you astray br From the goodness your conscience has sought. br A conscience mind it will let you sleep br While a evil mind will keep you sleepless and awake br As it will remind you of the evils you had done br And also the guilt you gave through sins you did take. br I wonder though Is it a devil or an angel br That stands besides us to whisper into our ear br That will lead us from sin or away from evil br I wander what voice is it that you or I do hear. br A conscience mind is the greatest mind br More precious than riches or wealth we might find br As it will help us lead us to either to heaven or hell br So GOD bless us all with our conscience mind. br br Randy L.
