The clock on our lives it keeps ticking away br And for many today it will be their last day br Time for anyone of us does not seem to wait br And on each one of us there is a use by date br The longer we live the sooner we will die br A wise one said that one far wiser than I br And though the longest human life in time is not a very long span br Most do want to live for as long as they can br Yet some who are torn by great inner strife br Come to the decision to take their own life br But the majority value life as a great thing br And to the greatest of all gifts to the end they do cling br For many today it will be their last day br We must die for others we have to make way.
