Junkyard Of Muses - Melancholia

Junkyard Of Muses - Melancholia

I wanted to go somewhere with you br and somehow we ended up on the beach br with my hands in my pockets. br br It was windy and you had nothing br to cling to, so you sat down. br I put my jacket on your br shoulders, and you thanked me. br br In the distance, boats with sails br like white handkerchiefs br were being cradled by (the) waves. br You bid them farewell and smiled. br I just looked at them and at you. br br Before we left, you wrote a poem br in the sand. You didn't let me see it, br you said: ' this is something br I want you to read tomorrow, after I'm gone' br br Next day I went to see what you meant, br but it didn't last. The waves br took everything, even our footprints.
