I Love My Motherland India Because: br br Integrity of the nation is paramount br No one is above the laws of the land br Democracy: largest and strongest in the world exists br Industries and industriousness reinforce each other br A’ll are given equal opportunities for development br Sanctity: sacred rivers like Ganges, Brahmaputra, Cauvery etc flow br br Security: scientists, sages, seers have had their birth br Indianness, indigenization are of prime value br Xians, Muslims, Sikhs, Parsees, Jains, and others live in amity br Traditions and cultural heritage are mostly preserved br Intellectual resource is an unfathomable wealth br Education has been revitalized through mass media of communication in a big way br Togetherness of peoples has led to unity and harmony br Health: for all is through PHCs, br br Internet is revolutionizing mass-education, transactions and br Neutrality makes India a most-friendly nation br Defence includes offence and deterrence br English knowledge is a valuable asset for jobs abroad br Population is both a unique advantage as well as demerit br Economy is quite independent of global factors br Nuclear power is used for peaceful purposes mainly br Development of the individual and nation happens in right proportions br Equality of sexes, creeds and communities is constitutionally safe-guarded br Non-governmental organisations play a vital role in many spheres br Companies of multi-national origin vie with one another to do business in India br Emphasis is on love and brotherhood of nations and not war br br Deterioration of social and moral values is not a problem as yet br Agriculture is the main-stay of most people br Yeoman service has been offered by India to most world bodies and in world affairs br br Copyright by Dr John Celes 13-8-2007br br Dr John Celesbr br
