George Egba - Crystal Island

Home atlas since far away away flowers br Tender roses meek serenity blowing slow br Just there by garden stood rose for showers br Beside a narrow stream flow br Doze the trees which went so soft by music br Paradise atlas just this home br Of snowy look falling fruits from figs br So fed we and gave her a calm name br Peace and love and share love of trees br Then at night when sleep from mountain dew br We dreamed not of better home than of trees br Which own long tasting dew br Some day soon came the sun br But retires as the frozen breeze drive it away br Fast folded her length away she ran br Till date time came and took us away br We could neither bear this departure br Or remain where our days were no more br Took for me memorial precious stones br Away with inscription of love and peace br In love the way we felt br Live and rise just in that spot br Trace the stars as long as the memorial could tell br Far away from that spot br Shadow deep spots of future sleep br Where to be call our memories br Until this was through to keep br Need arise moment for trial br Abide no more to weepbr br George Egbabr br
