I woke up once early br br And went to the shore br br Watched the fishermen paddled their oars br br I sudden heard an old sweet voice br br Humming a lullaby to a baby with rejoice br br br I stepped inside my grandma's house br br And felt the breeze in my thin blouse br br I gazed at the frames which proudly stood br br Where loving and sweet memories were all captured br br br I remembered myself on my grandma's lap br br Smiling with her and laugh and laugh br br My smile and her smile tossed br br My laugh and her laugh froze br br While we enjoyed the glasses of Coke br br All of laughed and choked and choked br br br If sometimes I sleep on her lap, br br She would touch my tangled curly hair br br And tell us stories, br br About the 'Tortoise and the Hare' br br br But all of our moments froze, br br When the day came, and I felt like tossed; br br I felt my heart bleed br br When I saw her inside her coffin br br br I waved to her 'goodbye' br br With my tears running down; br br But my love to her, and our memories stayed br br 'for it's the only wealth' she said, br br She could leave...
