Gert Strydom - Thunder Touched (Cavatina Sequence)

There is a place with scorched molten earth br near some hillocks br where blue lightning lashes repeatedly br and there it knocks br anything that it can find with its fire, br where some big rocks br draws it somehow on that much higher ground, br that is cleared from anything around. br br The sky was ominous grey and brooding, br intensely black br while static or maybe fear made hairs rise, br we did turn back br while some rain, bird egg size hail drilled down; br under attack br of great blue-white thunder that was falling br with a mighty whipping roaring blue sting. br br Just in time we reached some safe cover, br we were drenched br while bolts of blue thunder fell threatening, br in fear clenched br were the fingers of both her tiny hands, br as if wrenched br the muscles of her arms moved in pain br while thunder lashed again and again. br br Blue-white blazing light fell on closed lids; br her inner eye br remembered decimating scorching br from some times by, br when medical staff unleashed a bolt br let fury fly, br torching some synapses of her own mind, br experimenting they acted unkind.
