What children need is love and care; br Unfairness, they can never bear; br They fight by calling silly names; br They can devise their own good games. br br They want nice words for achievements; br And they forget their arguments; br They seek attention all the time; br They love to watch clowns and to mime. br br Alas, they are like tender shoots! br They need good foundation like roots; br They crave for opportunities; br They’re offended when others tease. br br Children are children everywhere; br To do brave acts, at times, they dare; br They must be given freedom, rights; br They fear darkness and violent sights. br br They are the wealth of nations all! br They aim to do things truly tall; br They must be nourished truly well, br Or else, they soon become quite ill.
