I've just been out on one my walks br And was thinking about dandelion stalks! br br When I was young they were always tall br These days they're very very small. br br They used to be nine inches or more, br Now, the flowers are on the floor. br br They're really clever. I'm surprised. br All on their own they've realised br br That if they're up there tall and thin, br Along comes the mower - and Goodnight, Berlin! br br But if they're right down low and small br The mower won't get them at all.
