Heroes br Being a hero means little to me, br For I have see men labeled as a coward die as a heroes br And men called heroes run like cowards. br A name means nothing when it is all outside br And being called a hero is only a name. br For I have seen countless men live and die, br As only a hero could. br And yet they received nothing more, br Than a little golden star. br Countless heroes have lived and died, br But only a few ever truly earned such a title. br A true hero never worries about titles, br They do what is needed no matter the price. br A true hero is willing to make, br That ultimate sacrifice. br They will lay down their lives, br For their brothers-in-arms, br And give what they can for all those they love. br That is why I willingly gave, br My right leg for the man standing beside me. br I gave what I could so that he would live, br Hoping that he would do the same for another.
