Ruth warren - Memories Within The Winds

Ruth warren - Memories Within The Winds

Midnight moon's glow, shades of desire, br whispers in the winds, as my heart br flows. Within the winds come br the memories of you, the memories br that I want to let go. br br Still they come and crash upon my br heart, like the stormy seas in the night, br How can I set them free, when upon br my dreams they take flight? br br Tears of life flood the oceans wide, br the stars in the Heaven's no longer my br guide, their light dim, as the cloud br covers their beauty, misty eyes, filled br with him. br br The one I search for each night, his hand br I reach for, still emptiness lies in mine. br No sounds of my heart beating with the br rythym of the night, lonely is this heart, br as again it takes flight. br br Moon casting it's sadness upon my soul, br lonely like me, it's night as dark as coal. br All the world quiet as my dreams begin, br when will all this heartache end? br br Still in my dreams you come to me, br life wakes this heart once again, as you br promise me to never leave. Every morning br over again, the rain falls gently down my br face, as the memories come within the winds.
