Sometimes you do things for others br never realising what it does to you. br It feels as if you’re helping them br then realize what it has done to you. br You get lost along the way br withdrawing from the world br and no longer having anything to say. br Gone is that, that nurtured you br as you turn your back away. br Your world becomes a blank page br with just one word written on it br and that word is despair. br You no longer have anyone br to talk to and share your ideas. br You recede into apologies br for nothing that you’ve done. br The comfort zone you once had br is gone never to return. br You slip into boredom that you once knew. br Your life is filled with images, br which are meaningless to you. br Your stuck in a world br that is neither happy or sad, br but which is meaningless and empty. br Your creativity has all but ebbed away br and shrunk back into the void br that once controlled your life br and looks like doing it again. br You wander through each day br devoid of the things you need br to carry your life through. It happened why you ask. br The answer is not so readily available. br Slowly you fall into loneliness br where no thoughts are written down, br sliding into an empty world br where your voice is never heard br and no voices come back to you. br The world of desolation br where you are no longer an individual, br but just another empty drone. br Your emotions have been drained away, br your feelings are now gone. br You face each day without caring br whether it will be your last.
