Cry empty heart; a lonely tear br that I have always shed. br Through wake of poetry I write br and pray this yearning's fed. br br My desire above all br is a reachable impasse. br a hunger starved in childhood gone br and memories place passed. br br I wonder if she calls my name, br the daughter one of four. br The only one that bore grandsons br and still her eyes ignore. br br It's on this day that my heart aches br and one I labor of br Although a woman I've became, br I crave my mother's love.
