Where do balloons go? br I really want to know. br br If I release it to the sky br Will it forever fly? br Or will somebody else start to see br as soon as I catch it's color shed br Why in fact did I choose red? br br How do you pacify a child br who held it last br when all you hear is her final gasp br and unceasing whimper? br Will you tell her br it's out to send a message br to her daddy up in heaven? br Or that it's on its way br to a child who hasn't even held one br in a childhood almost forgotten? br br I know between mathematics br and science br and poetry br I will see the answer br But the child in me br can't help but wonder.
