A New Fantasy br br How could you give me a present br that showed up my incompetence br to such disadvantage… br br Kids do it all the time, I can do it too br changing dreams when I find the old br depends on br br Matters out of my control - I’ll give up br the old one, to be replaced with something br new br br According to quantum physics, there br are infinite alternatives – though my dream br failed br br Though I cry tonight, tomorrow I shall br construct a new br fantasy… br br br Sliding Down Banisters* br br I crashed my intellectual car into a wall br when I tried to make sense of it all; focusing br on Edgar Cayce, American seer, and reading br Seth Speaks by Jane Roberts; made me br despondent br br Then I tried to visualize myself as a brave br civil servant, using the power of imagination br to see myself filing with joy, creating statistics br with love – but I have to confess, it did not br work out at all br br Finding myself unable to face the reality br I tried to inhabit through visualization, I br returned to the comfort and safety of br Fairytales – and the magic returned, br I am free again br br To live in a space where a witch and a br cat and a frog are reigning the lift, making br the caretaker’s life so much fun, while br terrorizing everyone employed br in the building br br Even considering to make the lift sing; br though the caretaker did not approve, br he loved sliding down banisters with br the witch and the cat and the br frog! br br br Robina Beckles Willson “Secret Witch”br br Margaret Alicebr br
