David Harris - Early Works - The Seasons

Sky clouded and morbid blue br with cracks for the sun to shine through. br Fields barren and dead br with leaves turning from green to red. br Birds on high winging south br as rivers flow from its mouth. br Sun shines a light of cold on the br ground as autumn approaching us surrounds. br br The leaves of orange and red mould where they are blown br as upon us winder begins to grow. br After a while comes a white blanket of snow br covering everything that will grow. br The nights get long br and the winter winds blow strong. br Everything is frozen fast br and in this wintry waste, none must trespass. br br Overnight comes the warmth of a rearing sun br bringing with it the spring, br life to every living thing. br Trees and flowers bud, bloom, br and around the corner summer begins to loom. br As everything, turns’ smiling around br there is heard in the wind loves sweet sound. br br Then with sunsets beautiful, but not rare br we can tell summer is in the air. br Flowers in full bloom spread multicolour around br as small creatures scamper on the ground br under the sun profound. br All the mysteries that summer does involve br will soon be gone as the seasons again revolve. br br Date Unknown.
