Dr John Celes - Sonnet: On Pornography

Accursed are eyes that see the naked scenes br Of man, woman, child in erotic ways- br The sin of pornography isn’t in genes: br The mind perverted wastes its precious days! br br For, God had made the body too, sacred, br And sanctified the sexual act of men; br And adultery can’t stain the nuptial bed, br And show the red-lit world of whore-women. br br Accursed are souls whose pleasures come from acts- br Unnatural and beastly, inhuman; br Such devilish joys, God’s punishment attracts, br And ceases man to be a decent man! br br Shun pornography that inflicts wounds great, br In hearts and minds of souls, one cannot treat.
